Rotary Gala Dinner Fundraiser Success

 
Rotary Club Malta's Annual Fund Raising Gala Dinner held on April 10th 2015 at the InterContinental Malta was another great success with over 280 Rotarians and guests.  A very enjoyable evening in great company, good food and music and all for a great cause.
 
 
The splendid new Intercontinental conference center was filled with over 280 guests, who enjoyed an excellent meal and then danced the night away to the music of the Red Electric Band. Master of Ceremonies, Ian de Cesare, guided guests through the evening.
 
President Alfred Caruana Galizia gave an impressive speech, pointing out the achievements in the Rotary charity projects, notably Dar Il Kaptan and The New School in Uganda. The many people involved in making the evening a success were thanked, in particular the generous sponsors and the artists who donated 15 pictures free of charge.  Frank Salt, as usual, auctioned the paintings and a good sum of funding was raised.  Fifteen Rotary colleagues from St Etienne, France were also guests and banners were exchanged with the three clubs present, including the President of one of them. It was a great, enjoyable evening to be remembered.
