Inter-Country Committee Meeting - Italy, Switzerland, Malta, San Marino & Liechtenstein

 

Come and enjoy the fellowship and friendship of Rotarians from these various countries, meeting in Malta between the 26th and 29th September.

We are pleased to provide an interesting programme with a showcasing the Island's history and culture. The event hotel is the Corinthia St Julians hotel.  

The programme and places being visited are outlined within the attached brochure.

 

The CIP Meeting (Commitato Interpaese) is a fellowship/friendship yearly meeting held between Italian-Sicilian-Swiss –Liechtenstein and Malta Rotarians and spouses,  The venue alternates between Italy-Sicily-Switzerland-Liechtenstein and Malta.. Several of the participants are repeaters and the continuity of attendance encourages long friendships to be made. Although the official language is Italian, most of the Swiss speak English and a few Italians/Sicilians  also speak English. No business or fund raising matters are discussed at a CIP Meeting.
 
This year we are hosting the meeting in Malta between the 26th and 29th.September 2019. It would be a good opportunity for the members of the two Malta clubs to participate to share the fellowship of our guests.
 
The programme for the event is as shown below. Should you wish to attend any of the events please submit your request to cip@rotary.org.mt by the 19th.September 2019.
 
Thursday
Dinner at 8pm at Settimo Cielo(roof garden) at Vivaldi Hotel Paceville.  The cost of the dinner is €40 per person.
 
Friday
  • Tour to Valletta: visit the Malta Experience film show
  • Lunch at Villa Arrigo at €35 per person.  
  • After lunch a guided visit to Mosta Basilica and Mosta Band club at no charge to local Rotarians/spouses/partners
  • Dinner at local Rotarians homes for the visitors(we are unable to accommodate local members unless they attend the whole programme.)
Saturday
  • Speakers morning from 10am to 12.00 at Hotel Corinthia San Gorg 
  • Lunch at Chop House at Tigne Point, Sliema at 1pm. Cost of lunch €40 per person.
  • Ride on Capt Morgan vessel for a harbour cruise at 3.15pm. No additional charge to local Rotarians/spouses/partners
  • 8pm –Aperitif and Cena dell’Amicizia at Corinthia Hotel Sa Gorg. Cost to local Rotarians/spouses/partners at €60 per person
